.At the Australian Sheep Breeders Association at Bendigo in 2009; Poll Dorsets were the feature breed for that year. A small section of the large shed where the Poll Dorset judging was taking place was allocated to a group of ladies from a Spinners and Weavers Club. “Blue Haven” stud donated Poll Dorset wool to these ladies who were spinning, weaving, knitting and crocheting garments from the wool. It was a magnificent display of handicraft.

We continue to Stock Scan our rams each year. Recording EMA (eye muscle area) fat depth and current weights of every ram assists buyers to select rams for their studs or for commercial sheep.
