BWWT = birthweight – low birth weight values will produce lighter birth weight lambs
PWWT = postweaning weight – a higher value will produce faster growing lambs
PFAT = postweaning fat – the more negative the value,the leaner the lambs will be
PEMD = postweaning eye muscle depth – positive values will genetically have more muscle in the loin area and better carcass shape
CARCASS + = this standard index places 60% emphasis on pwwt(growth rate), 20% on pfat (carcass leanness), 20% on pemd(carcass muscling)
TRADE $ = targeting the production of sucker lambs 18 to 22 kg
