New Flocks: New members pay subscription fees calculated from the above table, plus a joining fee of - $50 Associate Members = $60 Annual Members = $35 (Full and Associate Members will automatically receive the current Flock Register and Association Journal; Annual Members receive the Association Journal - See also Rule 1). Compulsory Promotion Levy Number of flock rams sold including ram lambs = $1 per ram Ram registration fee (per ram) = $10 Ram transfer fee (per ram) = $10 Ewe transfer fee (for each ewe over 6 months of age at the date of sale) = $1 Embryo Transfer fee = $5 (Note: Forms for the individual registration and transfer of stud rams, and bulk transfer of stud ewes and lambs, are available free on request from Head Office).
Semen Transfer Fees (Regulation 12) A Semen transfer fee will apply on each semen package sold per stud ram = $10 (Note: Subsequent semen sales of the same ram to the same purchaser will be free of further semen transfer fees).
Prefix Alteration: The fee to alter a registered stud prefix is = $15
Penalty Fees: • Late transfer fee for stud rams and ewes (per certificate - see Regulation 11C) = $5 • Late Semen transfer certificate fee (per certificate - see Regulation 12 e) = $5 • Flock Returns received between 1st May and 31st May will carry a late penalty fee of = $12 • Flock Returns received after 31st May will carry a late penalty fee of = $24
Export Fees: $1 per flock ram (up to a maximum of $10) A fee will be charged for the Secretariat time in preparation of Export Certificates.
Maximum Inspection Charges: Per half day per inspector = $20 Per kilometre one way = 20 cents Per sheep = 30 cents
Goods and Services Tax (GST) Members are required to pay the current fees on a 'pay as you go' basis as this is the most cost effective system. Please attach your payment to all certificates etc. sent to Head Office and remember to add the 10% GST to your cheque/money order. Head Office will issue members with a Tax Invoice/Receipt and the allocation of the various items and the GST paid will be clearly shown.
