The new and improved Poll Dorset Youth Day (PDYD) will be known as Australian Poll Dorset Junior Muster & will be held at the Showground's in Wagga Wagga NSW on the 7th & 8th of August 2010. The main aim of this muster is to encourage the prime lamb producers of the future to further to develop their knowledge, make contacts & generally enjoy being part of the magnificent Poll Dorset industry. Amongst others; this Junior Muster will cover the following topics; junior judging, show preparation & sheep handling. We realize the Poll Dorset industry is not all about what happens in the show ring, so topics such as muscle scanning & commercial sheep selection will play a big part at the Australian Poll Dorset Junior Muster.
