STUD SIRES AND FLOCK RAMS

Descriptions of stud sires are updated on a regular basis on our slideshare site located at www.slideshare.net/kennedycreek and flock ram details can also be found there.  Our stud sires are a mix of proven genetics from within our own flock and from other flocks.  This allows us to benchmark our own genetics against Australasian wide Poll Dorset (and other breed) genetics more accurately.  We try to use at least one “external” sire each year to ensure that the data we produce has good linkage to other studs – in the past few years we have used artificial and natural mating from Ivadene, Kentish Downs, Linton and Majardah studs to achieve this.
